Privacy Statement

Proxcontrol Sales B.V., with its registered office at Bronsstraat 15 B at IJmuiden (Proxcontrol or we) is the party responsible for the processing activities as described in this privacy statement. For these activities, Proxcontrol determines the purposes and the means of the processing and informs you about it. 

Proxcontrol mainly processes personal data on behalf of and in accordance with instructions from its customers when providing its services. Insofar as Proxcontrol does not determine the purposes and means of the processing, customer will be the controller and will inform you about the processing of your personal data.

We process personal data of the following categories of persons:

1. Customers – persons who purchase our products and services (on behalf of a company).
2. Users – persons who are using our services (e.g. our mobile app). 
3. Suppliers - persons from whom we purchase products or services.
4. Third parties – persons who visit the website https://proxcontrol.com, contact us directly and visit our offices. 

Customers & suppliers

We may process the following data about our customers and suppliers:

1. Contact details: name, address, job title, telephone and fax number, Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number, bank account number and unique identification number.
2. Order data: information about the services, such as order data. 

Users

1. Aggregated data: pseudonymized and/ or aggregated data about the use of the service (not on a per customer level). 

Third parties

We may process the following data from third parties:

1. Contact details: name, address, job title, telephone and fax number, Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number, bank account number and unique identification number.
2. Website data: data from the device used to visit the website, such as the IP address and the software used.
3. Other data: data that you provide to us at your own initiative. 

We only process your personal data in the presence of a lawful basis established by current legislation. If we process your personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest, we only process your personal data if those interests outweigh the interests or fundamental rights of you.

We will only share your personal data with trusted third parties if they need the personal data to provide their services. We will only transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area if an adequate safeguard is in place and on the condition that enforceable data subject rights and effective legal remedies for you are available. We will ensure that your data is only used in a manner similar to, or for a purpose similar to, that for which your personal data was collected and only in accordance with this privacy statement and any legal obligations. 

We may share your personal data with the following parties.

• Persons working for us and involved in the processing;
• Persons working for one of our suppliers (including subcontractors or service providers) involved in the processing, such as hosting and aggregation providers; and 
• Persons working for competent authorities, if required by law, such as supervisory authorities, enforcement bodies and courts.

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, or other device with access to the internet. These cookies can be stored and read via your web browser. For example, we must retain certain personal data for a period of at least 7 years after the end of a tax year. 

In certain cases, you have the right to view and change the personal data that we have collected from you. You have, in certain cases, the right to object to the processing of your personal data and you can also ask us to limit the processing of your personal data, delete your data or transfer your data to another party. In order to exercise any of your privacy rights as to personal data controlled by us, please send a request to: info@proxcontrol.nl and indicate that it concerns a personal data request. 

The exercise of the privacy rights is in principle free of charge (except for excessive requests). We will inform you without undue delay and in principle within one month after receipt of the request about the action taken on your request. We may also ask you for certain additional information to help us confirm your identity before complying with such a request.

You can submit a complaint about the processing of your personal data. If we do not meet your request for access, rectification, objection, restriction, erasure or transfer of your personal data, you can submit a complaint with the Data Protection Authority in your country. In the Netherlands, the relevant authority is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (https://autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl/).

If you are not happy with how the complaint is resolved, you can lodge an appeal with the courts.

We reserve the right to modify this statement. We recommend that you consult this statement on a regular basis, so that you remain informed of any changes.
